Dermapen (Microneedling)

The Dermapen is a convenient and effective way of performing microneedling. The Dermapen adjustable needles penetrate a controlled depth into the dermis. The dermis develops multiple micro-bruises, which start a cascade of growth factor release and collagen production. As collagen is deposited, the skin texture improves. Results are initially seen in six weeks and full effect will generally take three months to develop. Dermapen is employed in treatment of acne scars, skin rejuvenation, skin tightening, and in combination with various sera or PRP like the dermaroller. It is very commonly combined with PRP treatment of the scalp to enhance hair growth too.
