Microneedle Radiofrequency (MNRF)
MNRF uses extra sharp microneedles to heat the depths of the skin leading to healing and resultant new tissue formation. This technique can be employed to produce skin tightening effect to reduce sagging of face. It can be combined with other modalities like Botox and facial thread lifting based on the requirement in each client. It also finds its use in treating post acne scars on face where it induces fresh collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin which results in filling up of the depressed scars. The results achieved varies depending on the level in which RF energy is delivered into the skin. Therefore insulated needles are often used to deliver energy in the depths without affecting the superficial layers and thus avoiding accidental pigmentation to the skin.
